2020 Political Platform of CRIS ERICSON – PROGRESSIVE candidate on the Nov. 3, 2020 election ballot in Vermont

Subject: 2020 Political Platform of CRIS ERICSON – PROGRESSIVE candidate on the Nov. 3, 2020 election ballot in Vermont

VOTE FOR CRIS ERICSON FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF VERMONT
CRIS ERICSON SAYS:
My name is Cris Ericson and I am on the ballot for
Lieutenant Governor of Vermont. The first job of the
Lieutenant Governor is presiding over the State Senate
and casting a vote only if there is a tie. If you elect me
then I will put an end to the practice of assigning Senators
to committees, and instead, let them chose themselves which
committees they want to be on. I believe it is a violation
of freedom of speech and freedom of association to assign
State Senators to committees. When you take an Oath of
Office to uphold and defend the United States Constitution,
and then you violate the U.S. Constitution by depriving
State Senators of their freedom of speech and freedom of
association, then that is obviously wrong. This results
in State Senators not bothering to read Bills which they
vote on, it results in yawning and lack of attention to
details and boredom. Worse yet, it results in some State
Senators saying they can’t get anything done, and they quit,
they don’t run for re-election. Please vote for me,
Cris Ericson, for Lieutenant Governor of Vermont, and I will
bring in a new era of enlightenment.

VOTE FOR CRIS ERICSON FOR VERMONT SECRETARY OF STATE
CRIS ERICSON SAYS:
My name is Cris Ericson and I am on the ballot for Secretary
of State. If you elect me I will count every vote. I will not
allow Vermont to be like Florida was in the Bush vs. Gore
Presidential campaign in the year 2000 when there were legal
battles over which votes should be counted, and who really
won the Presidency. In the Vermont primary election of
August 11, 2020 this past summer, the current Vermont
Secretary of State allowed about 6,000 voting ballots to be
discarded because they were determined to be not good enough
to count. Vermont could become the new Florida if the
current Secretary of State stays in office because you know
perfectly well that President Donald Trump’s lawyers and
his rival, former Vice President Joe Biden’s lawyers will
come to Vermont in full force filing Briefs in Courts in
the State as well as in Federal Courts and in the Supreme
Court of the United States, screaming their collective heads
off that every vote should be counted. You don’t want
Vermont to be the disgrace of the nation. Please vote
for me for Secretary of State because I believe every
vote matters. Thank you.

VOTE FOR CRIS ERICSON FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL OF VERMONT
CRIS ERICSON SAYS:
If you elect me for Attorney General then I will do everything
I can to put an end to plea bargains. Plea bargains are all
too often the result of corrupt prosecutors threatening and
lying to innocent people who can not afford bail. I will also
do everything I can to end the practice of sending Vermonters
to out-of-state private-for-profit prisons. Courts should
not be full of Judges and Prosecutors who are only concerned
about the number of notches in their belts. When a Prosecutor
withholds evidence proving someone is innocent, or lies to the
jury, then that is fraud in a fiduciary capacity – it is a
wrongful waste of taxpayer dollars to lock up and shackle and
chain and hand cuff innocent people and put them in steel bar
cells. Our focus should be on rehabilitation, continuing
education and reconnecting people with their families, not
tearing them apart and sending them out-of-state. The current
Vermont State Attorney General has NOT ended plea bargains and
has not stopped the shipping out of Vermonters to out-of-state
private-for-profit prisons. It is time for a change, vote for me,
Cris Ericson for Attorney General.

VOTE FOR CRIS ERICSON FOR AUDITOR OF ACCOUNTS
CRIS ERICSON SAYS:
If you elect me Auditor of Accounts then I will lead other State
Auditors nationwide in demanding the repeal of the Bayh-Dole Act
and change the way the federal government hands out grant money.
The grant money is OUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS which came out of YOUR
PAYCHECK. It is the job of the Auditor of Accounts to audit
the use of state and federal tax dollars that come into Vermont!
The I.R.S. demands taxes from your paycheck, they are sent to the
U.S. Treasury, and then the U.S. Congress votes to give your
taxpayer dollars to the N.I.H. National Institute of Health and
the Pentagon. The N.I.H. and Pentagon then hand out your taxpayer
dollars to researchers to invent new products like prescription
drugs, vaccinations, medical devices and jets and drones and bombs
and spy satellites. The researchers do the research, design and
development projects with YOUR taxpayer dollars, then they PATENT
the rights to the inventions and make 3rd party contracts with
pharmaceutical and defense corporations and sell these products
worldwide for TRILLIONS of DOLLARS in profits. Now, remember,
they started with YOUR taxpayer dollars for the R&D, research,
design and development, SO WHERE IS YOUR SHARE OF THE PROFIT?
We need our share of the profits, we need "R.O.I." return on
investment of taxpayer dollars in order to pay for healthcare,
education, housing for homeless, etc., in Vermont.

VOTE FOR CRIS ERICSON FOR VERMONT STATE TREASURER
CRIS ERICSON SAYS:
If you elect me for Treasurer of the State of Vermont then
I will be far more careful, instinctive, and attentive to
details than the current Treasurer when it comes to the job
of investing state funds into mutual accounts and other
investment or security and exchange commission – Wall Street
– financial products in order to make money for the State
of Vermont. This is where the State gets tripped up, other
things the Treasurer does can be added and subtracted, checks
can be issued, all in a nice and accountable transcript.
But, the job of Treasurer also involves investing in mutual
funds, etc. This requires the art, the instincts, the
extreme attention to detail daily of the ups and downs of any
financial market instrument. Obviously, because the State of
Vermont isn’t rolling in money, the current Treasurer does not
have what it takes to be investment savy.
Vote for me, Cris Ericson, for Treasurer.
