IF I WIN THE ELECTION FOR U.S. CONGRESS,
HOW WILL I RUN MY CONGRESSIONAL OFFICES
IN VERMONT AND WASHINGTON, D.C.?
I live in Windsor County, Vermont and some
voters feel neglected. All of the current offices
of U.S. Congressman, House & Senate, are
all in one city, Burlington, in Chittenden County,
125 miles away!
If I am elected to the U.S. Congress, House of
Representatives, I will have one or more
I will use the budget for my Vermont office
to buy either buses or motor homes,
instead of having a suite in a typical office building.
I will hire 4 (FOUR) Vermonters for each
bus or motor home, and they will work
at least 40 hours a week each, and
each group of 4 must work together at the
One (of each group of 4)
will be a mechanic and driver, and keep the
bus or motor home in ship shape!
One will be the interviewer, and person who
reads letters. Letters will go to a
postal box and be retrieved from there.
The interviewer must call each person
who sends a letter and set up a time
for an interview, and tell the Vermonter
that the MOBILE office will come to them
anywhere in the whole state of Vermont!
The interviewer must be very friendly
I need to hear what Vermonters
want me to do for them and for Vermont.
I may give the interviewer questions to
ask Vermonters, like an opinion poll on issues.
The MOBILE OFFICE TEAM
will park the bus or motor home
as close as possible to the residence
of the Vermonter, and agree to either
meet outdoors, or inside the motor home/bus
or inside the Vermonter’s home or
other meeting place if it is a club
or society or school group.
The interviewer will explain basically what
a U.S. Congresswoman does down there in
Washington, D.C. (1) Pack bills with “pork” to
bring as much money in federal funding to
Vermont as possible. (2) Repeal lousy laws
which are unfair to Vermonters. (3) Make
new laws which are helpful to Vermonters.
Then the interviewer will ask the Vermonter
to tell them what they want me to do in
Washington, D.C. I only want to hear the
opinion of the Vermont voter, and not the
opinion of the interviewer.
The third (3rd) mobile office member will
video tape the interview, and then edit
if necessary, make a long version with
music and a short version. Also, the
videographer will video tape the beauty
of Vermont while they drive all over
the state every day, and put scenic
Vermont to music.
The fourth (4th) mobile office person will
set up satellite wifi and run the mobile office
computer system and upload the video to
youtube. Then the computer person will
upload a link to the video from youtube to
my official U.S. Congresswoman website.
Every single day that the mobile office
crew is working there should be new
I will watch the videos from my official
U.S. Congressional office in Washington, D.C.
My Washington, D.C. office will be staffed with
telemarketers and in-person sales people.
They will call on (in person and on the telephone)
all of the other hundreds of U.S. Congressmen
and U.S. Congresswomen and convince them
to vote for Bills I have written or sponsored or
co-sponsored. For every Bill I am in favor of
which gets passed with a majority vote in the
U.S. Congress, my Washington, D.C. staff will
each get a raise. They can start at
Vote for me, Cris Ericson 2020, because
I will listen to you, the Vermont voters!
